Cultural Thoughts

Right now, I feel I am at a place where my life interests are kind of simmering and developing. I feel fine knowing that I have dreams but yet to decide a specific definite goal. I know I would definitely love to travel. In the mean time, I have a self understanding of what I am doing with my time with what I have been given.....

Outside of that, I think about a lot of cultures and countries. I have yet to do enough research on Egypt to have a better understanding, idea, or opinion. I should be, because the reality of a creative idea of climate kind of matches Egypt.

Next is Russia, the most recent news piece is more focused on financial corruption more than any other category of corruption. So while I see some signs, those signs are not firm enough to fully believe.
Who is ultimately responsible for Dunkin Donuts? Some other art gallery that I have a vague memory of? I was definitely being sexually exploited, taunted, and maybe some things are meant only as dark jokes and tauntings that may not be real. Over the issue of human/sexual trafficking, sexual corruption, I do not really see any strong feelings against it.
I know the aftermath is never pretty: Black sheep fueds, attempts to rob a person of their fight by trickery, straight up lies and falsifications of corruption, severe and even stupid testing.

Anyway, I thought it was a little neat when I found some kind of relation when Medvedev was discussing some corruption. Kind of like the Jon Nash "A beautiful Mind," relation. Its being cruelly teased with no hard found evidence. He speaks so calmly about the chaotic judicial system. Generally speaking he does want it to have a better infrastructure aka backbone, but it sounds as if all court rulings or justice seems to end in being watered down or B.S.ed with where it probably doesn't even matter anymore. It is in my own words of how the discussion sounded. Of course it doesn't entirely relate to America with the way Russia's government has evolved over the years. It was a strict communism in history where it sounds as if people have gained more freedom in present time. However, it seems as if Russia doesn't know how to handle the freedom. Maybe there is fear of making judgement. There is obviously a problem with no judgement. Maybe Russia beats itself to death with neverending karma games where they are all one and the same in the commune, so who is to judge who? (I wish people really knew how much I hate the true chaos and falseness of karma games).

In a childish stereotype, France has had the reputation of being the romance and love country. I've seen shirts of different states, "Virginia is for lovers." It seems as if the stereotype would be "France is for lovers." However, in present time, I have picked up on other characteristics of France. I'm not really sure of the government system, but France is strict as a whole. There is supposedly a high suicide rate because its citizens are rumored to feel so hard pressed by so many demands and little satisfaction, that some eventually are driven to suicide. It is hard to believe that coming from a country where romance and love is the stereotype. It is also rumored that France is behind other countries in more ways than one. They probably still have reasons to keep their European/French pride, but I've heard in science, media, age of technology they are behind compared to other countries of the world.
So, sometimes, I have dreamed about France being a happy place. With current rumors and GI Joe, I have my doubts. Sienna supposedly destroyed the Eiffel Tower. Symbolically, I have some belief that France probably has somehow experienced some damage that has been brought on by the U.S. I did have a hatred for a long time ago ex boyfriend Josh, whose ethnic heritage was French Canadian. I don't know if a matrix man somehow correlated my hatred of him towards France? After seeing GI Joe, my mind can't help but run wild a little bit. But if the rumors are true of it being a repressed nation with little satisfaction, breathing room, or breaks, than I understand the possibility of causing some damage.
I creatively understood it with the U.S. with the recent oil rig disaster. Understanding in a lot of ways, but no real answer to real responsibility.

Then there is China. As much of respect I have for China, I can't help but feeling a little concerned at China's progression to world economic domination. It is to my understanding that China understands concepts of territory and respecting space, but they are currently a communistic country. It makes me wonder and question how it could effect the world's future if China gains a lot of control through economics. Will they get land hungry and keep wanting more land and more communism and control? Will enough never be enough with China? Will they impose communism and their own demands on other's throughout their gaining of control?
I like China in a lot of ways. I like the Asian culture in a lot of ways.
But I can't help wonder, what are the future possibilities of China's progression?
